Maverick County Daily Reports-November 03, 2015

Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to the 2500 block of Del Rio Blvd. this morning, where road construction may have caused a beige Ford F-150 to collide into the back of a black Nissan Titan. The driver and passenger of one of the units involved in the accident were transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center Emergency Room for further medical treatment.

Wanted Person-A male subject was detained at the Maverick County Adult Probation Department when it was revealed he had a possible outstanding warrant. Deputies arrived at the location and confirmed the warrant out of the Maverick County Sheriff's Office for Henry Alejandro Mata on a probation violation charge. Mr. Mata was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the international Port of Entry #1 after agents detained a male subject on an active warrant. Upon arrival, the deputy confirmed an outstanding warrant out of Uvalde County for Jesse Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to follow up on a theft that occurred approximately two years ago. Unknown subjects had taken a gold flowered bracelet without her consent. The bracelet has since been located at a local pawn store.

Criminal Trespass-A male complainant reported unknown subjects had entered his property and took a shed without his consent.

Criminal Mischief- A deputy was dispatched to the 4200 block of Deer Run, where unknown subjects had broken the front window to a residence with a rock.

Terroristic Threats-A complainant on the 1600 block of El Indio Highway reported a known female had threatened him and stated she was going to cause damages to his vehicle.

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a blue 2000 Chevrolet Silverado this evening. After consent was given to search the vehicle, the officer discovered a clear plastic bag containing a green leafy substance. It was later confirmed as marijuana. The driver, Heriberto Flores, was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
