Maverick County Daily Reports-November 02, 2015

Public Intoxication-Deputies responded to the 100 block of Pino Street after having received reports of two unwanted male subjects. Deputies arrived by the location and were able to make contact with the two subjects in question, who were found with an unstable balance, slurred speech, and a strong odor of alcohol emitting from their person. The male subjects were arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the Maverick County Adult Probation Department after a male subject was found to have an outstanding warrant. Officers confirmed the open warrant out of Maverick County and arrested Uriel Perez. Mr. Perez was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A county unit responded to the international Port of Entry after a male subject was detained when a background check revealed an active warrant. Deputies arrested Wayne Gary Milburn on a probation violation charge. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Indecency with a Child-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's office to file an indecency with a child report.

Damage to Property-A deputy was dispatched to US Highway 277 East this afternoon, where the driver of a Ford Expedition lost control and veered off of the roadway. Contact was made with the driver, who stated the passenger side rear tire had blown out, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle caused damage to the fence line along the highway and was found rested in the brush area. Both occupants of the vehicle were initially checked by EMS crews at the scene and refused further medical attention. The vehicle was later impounded.
