Maverick County Daily Reports-November 01, 2015

Family Violence/Assault-County units responded to the 2300 block of Eidson Road, minutes prior to the 12:30 AM hour after fielding a family violence call. Deputies on the scene made contact with a female complainant, who reported having been involved in an altercation with her husband inside of their residence. EMS crews were called to the scene and transported the female to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center Emergency Room for a possibly injured right hand. The husband, identified as Erik Martinez, was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Damage to property-A property owner was notified that his fence line had been damaged by several individuals attempting to jump the fence when leaving a party that had just been disrupted by county officers. The owner wished to file a report in reference to the matter.

Assault-A female complainant on Marco Drive stated she had been involved in a physical altercation with both a male and female individual. Both aggressors had fled the area prior to the deputy's arrival.

 Criminal Mischief-A complainant on Becos Street reported unknown subject(s) had caused damages to her vehicle.

Assault-A county unit responded to Harding Street after a complainant stated a known male subject had assaulted him.

Animal Cruelty-A complainant reported to the Sheriff's Office that a known male subject had struck his dog with an unknown subject.

Damage to Property-A county unit responded to Barbara Street, where a a resident reported unknown subject(s) had caused damages to his chain-link fence.

Public Intoxication-A deputy on patrol was waived down by a concerned citizen, after the citizen noticed a male individual possibly asleep in one of his vehicles. The deputy was able to make contact with the individual, who was found to have a slurred speech and some type of alcohol beverage emitting from his person. He was also unaware of his location. The individual was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A complainant on the 800 block of Lila Street reported a known female had taken his pet iguana and sold it.

Family Violence/Assault-Units responded to the 300 block of Zaragoza, where a complainant reported her boyfriend had assaulted her, shoving her several times and punching her in the facial area once. At the time of the report, the male subject had already left the area.

Criminal Mischief-A complainant filed a report this evening, after an unknown subject had caused scraped to his two vehicles on the 200 block of View Drive.
