Maverick County Daily Reports-November 10, 2015

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle-A complainant on the 100 block of Round Rock told deputies unknown subject(s) had taken his 1995 GMC two door pickup, which he had last seen last night at approximately 8:00 PM. The vehicle, taken without his consent, was entered into the TCIC/NCIC system as reported stolen.

Wanted Person-Deputies patrolling FM 1021 early this morning conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet pickup truck for a minor infraction. Contact was made with the driver, twenty-one year old Gustavo Enrique Flores, who after further investigation, was revealed to have had an open warrant out of Maverick County. Mr. Flores was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Deceased Person-Units responded to the Deer Run sector of Maverick County this morning, where a sixty-year old male subject was found deceased in his backyard. Justice of the Peace Castaneda was at the scene to pronounce the subject deceased at 8:26 AM.

Animal Bite-A complainant filed a report stating her son was bitten by two adult rats inside of her residence. The child was taken to United Medical Center for further treatment.

Assault-A complainant on Eidson Road stated a known male subject had assaulted her.

Wanted Person-Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to Rio Grande Street in Eagle Pass this afternoon, where Eagle Pass Police officers had detained a male subject with an active warrant out of Maverick County. Deputies were able to confirm the open warrant on Gerardo Tambunga. He was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
