Motor Vehicle Accident w/ a Pedestrian-Sheriff's deputies responded to the Reynolds Peters Ranch on US Highway 277 North after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident. Deputies arrived at the scene and made contact with twenty-eight year old Raul Castillo, Jr., a feedlot employee involved in the accident. Mr. Castillo stated he was driving his backhoe when the brakes jammed, causing a coworker in the rear of the vehicle to get struck in his lower back. EMS was summoned to the scene and Manuel Sandoval was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
Criminal Mischief-A complainant on Maria Esther reported unknown subjects had thrown eggs at her vehicle in the overnight hours.
Hit and Run-A complainant on Spring View stated her stationary 2013 grey Toyota Tundra was struck by another vehicle at an unknown date and time.
Damage to Property-Deputies responded to North Street, where an unknown vehicle had collided into a complainant's fence, causing damages. The complainant also stated that the vehicle had damaged a light pole.
Assault/Family Violence-Deputies were dispatched to the 1700 block of Eidson Road, where a female subject reported she had been involved in a physical altercation with her husband. The aggressor had fled the area prior to the unit's arrival.
Terroristic Threats Report-A complainant on the 400 block of Eidson Road stated that a known male subject had arrived at said location and threatened the complainant's life. The aggressor had left the area prior to the deputy's arrival.
