UPDATE
Maverick County Sheriff's Office[Eagle Pass, Tx.]-A warrant on an aggravated assault 2nd degree felony was issued by the court and executed by the Maverick County Sheriff's Office for Eziquiel Gil Esquivel yesterday afternoon without incident. A second warrant was issued on the same charges for Victor Manuel Salinas Pecina, who is currently in federal custody.
Both Subjects are accused of having participated in the shooting that occurred at Gera's Bar on El Indio Highway on September 28, 2014.The incident left three people wounded at the scene.
Sheriff Tom Shcmerber and The Maverick County Sheriff's Department take this time to thank the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Rangers for their assistance in this case.
