Maverick County Daily Reports-September 02, 2015

Located Runaway-A deputy was dispatched to the international Port of Entry #2 this morning, after a located runaway was detained by customs officers. The male juvenile was transported to the Sheriff's Office, where he was later released to the custody of his mother. He has since been removed from the TCIC/NCIC database.

Theft-A complainant on White Tail reported that an unknown person entered her property without consent and took several items.

Theft-Deputies were dispatched to Round Rock, where a complainant stated an unknown person took several items from the housing units she manages.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle-Deputies responded to Old Pioneer Road, where a the driver of a 2002 Ford Ranger had lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. Further investigations revealed that the Ford Ranger had been entered into systems as a stolen vehicle by the San Antonio Police Department. This case is under investigation.

DWI-A deputy patrolling Old Pioneer Road conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Nissan Altima for defective equipment this evening, shortly after 8:30 PM. Contact was made with the driver, Priscilla Elizondo, when it was revealed that she was in an intoxicated state. Ms. Elizondo refused to take a field sobriety test. She was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
