Maverick County Daily Reports-September 03, 2015

Damage to Property-A complainant traveling on US Highway 277 North had the windshield to his 2004 grey Grand Prix shattered when a vehicle passing him kicked up loose asphalt on the roadway, projecting it towards the windshield.

Aggravated Assault-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report that he was assaulted with a baseball bat several weeks ago. This case has been turned over to Criminal Investigations division for further processing.

Identification Report-A complainant told officers he had lost his daughter's social security card, which unknown subject(s) had used to obtain personal information.

Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of Sandalo, where US Marshals had Juan Manuel Olvera in their custody. Mr. Olvera was found to have had an open warrant out of Round Rock, Texas. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Identity Theft-A complainant reported unknown subjects had used his personal information to obtain employment without his consent.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies were dispatched to FM 1021 by the Cinco Ranch in reference to a rollover accident. Upon arrival, deputies observed a United States Border Patrol unit in the brush area. EMS crews were on scene and the driver of the unit was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for treatment. This case is under investigation.

Theft-A male on the 1700 block of South Veterans Blvd. reported a known male subject had his vehicle and has not wanted to return it.

Minor Motor Vehicle Accident-A complainant in Las Quintas stated he was struck by a vehicle exiting a residence. Both drivers refused medical attention at the time of the report.

Public Intoxication-A deputy patrolling Becker Street was waived down by a male subject in the middle of the street. Contact was made with the male, identified as Juan Gabriel Aguilar, who was found with an unstable balance and slurred speech. Mr. Aguilar was placed under arrest for public intoxication and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
