Maverick County Daily Reports-August 26, 2015

Theft-A complainant on  the 3000 block of Boulder Ridge told deputies she allowed her daughter in law to borrow her vehicle but she never brought it back.

Abandonment of Child-A reporting person requested the presence of a deputy to the Christian Street area in reference to two children left unattended. Upon arrival, it was revealed that a twenty-eight year old moth had left her four year-old female child and two year-old male child unattended. This case is under investigation.

Theft-A property owner in La Herradura reported that unknown subjects had trespassed onto his property, taking several items without his consent.

Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the United States Border Patrol South Station, where a male subject with an active warrant had been detained. Obed Rivas de Leon was taken into custody and was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

DWI-A deputy conducting a traffic stop on Deer Run Blvd. for a minor traffic infraction found the driver of a black Ford pick up to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested on DWI charges and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Family Violence, Assault-A complainant on Valerie Drive stated she was attempting to leave her residence when her common law husband physically assaulted her. She requested a deputy to accompany her while she retrieved her personal belongings from the residence to avoid further altercations.
