Maverick County Daily Reports-August 24, 2015

Burglary of Vehicle-A county unit was dispatched to the 1800 block of Oaxaca, where a complainant stated unknown subject(s) had taken an air compressor from his truck. He further stated that the compressor belonged to his employer.

Motor Vehicle Accident-County units responded to US Highway 277 East mile by mile marker 616 in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, deputies observed a 2008 red Buck Enclave with damages sustained to its front left panel as well as a 2003 maroon Dodge Dakota with damages to its right quarter back panel. Contact was made with the drivers, where the driver of the Enclave stated she was making a left turn onto her property when the Dodge Dakota attempted to pass her on its left side and struck the SUV. The driver refused medical attention at the time of the report.

Burglary of Building-A complainant on US Highway 57 told deputies unknown subjects had taken a 5 gallon water container.

Burglary of Habitation-A deputy was dispatched to Chaparral Ranch Road, where a complainant stated unknown subjects had taken some personal belongings from his RV.

Minor Motor Vehicle Accident-A deputy responded to Memorial drive shortly after 4:30 PM this afternoon, where the driver of a four door Cadillac reported that her vehicle had been hit by a grey Dodge Durango which fled the scene. The complainant refused medical attention at the time of the report.

Disorderly Conduct/Failure to Identify-Deputies detained a male that was attempting to start a physical altercation with a subject by Jacaranda Street. The subject, who initially refused to give his name and information, was later identified as Ezequiel Ramirez.

Wanted Person-Sheriff's deputies arrested Jesus Alberto Martinez on charges stemming from out of Maverick County for revoke of probation.
