Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle-A complaint on County Road 519 reported to deputies that her 2006 blue Chevrolet Equinox had been taken from her front yard without her consent. The vehicle was entered into the TCIC/NCIC database as a stolen vehicle.
Wanted Person-A county unit responded to US Highway 57 check point in reference to a possible wanted person. Upon arrival, a deputy conducted a database check on a male indvidual, identified as Jose Juan Lopez, whose active warrant out of Maverick County was confirmed. Mr. Lopez was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-A deputy responded to the international Port of Entry #1, where a male subject was detained after a database check revealed an active warrant out of Dallas County. The male subject was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Minor Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to Barrera Street, after a 2012 white Chevrolet Pickup reversed into and struck a 2010 Honda van. The occupants of both vehicles refused medical attention.
Wanted Person-A TCIC/NCIC database check on a person attempting to enter the United States via the international Port of Entry #2 revealed an outstanding warrant on theft charges. Adrian Perez was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Criminal Mischief-A complainant on Lago Vista reported that an unknown subject had broken the front window to her residence with an unknown subject.
Aggravated Assault-Deputies responded to Wagon Wheel Road, where a complainant stated that, while having a verbal argument with a known male subject, the subject pulled out a knife. The complainant displayed a minor cut on his left hand. He refused medical attention at the time of the report. This case is under investigation.
