Maverick County Daily Reports-August 22, 2015

Criminal Mischief-A complainant on the 100 block of Richard Lane reported that unknown actor(s) had thrown an unknown object at his vehicle, causing the windows and windshields to break.


Theft of Livestock-A deputy responded to La Loma Street after a male reported that unknown subjects had entered the property and took livestock without his consent.

Criminal Mischief-A complainant on the 3000 block of Tabachin reported unknown subject(s) had shattered his vehicle's front windshield with a rock.

Wanted Person-Deputies were dispatched to the United States Border Patrol South Station, where a female with an outstanding warrant was detained. Deputies arrested Vanessa Velasquez on an open warrant out of Maverick County for Failure to Appear Charges. Ms. Velasquez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A traffic stop for a minor infraction on FM 1021(El Indio Highway) revealed that the driver of a 2008 red Chevrolet Cobalt had an active warrant for her arrest. Officers arrested Teresa Nicole Lopez for an outstanding warrant out of Maverick County for assault with a motor vehicle charges. She was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
