Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the Maverick County Adult Probation Department in reference to a wanted person in their presence. Upon arrival, contact was made with Sarah Christine Zorbanos, who had an outstanding warrant out of Maverick County on possession of heroin charges. Ms. Zorbanos was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-A deputy responded to the international port of entry where a male subject was detained for an active warrant. Jose Badillo Rico was arrested for a probation violation out of Bexar County and was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Identity Theft-A male complainant visited the Sheriff's Office to report unknown subjects had been utilizing his personal information for their own benefit without his consent.
Civil Matter-Deputies met with a male complainant near Maverick County Lake after he stated that someone was entering his property and harming his livestock.
Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle-A deputy constable requested the assistance of sheriff's deputies this evening when a tractor trailer traveling on Highway 277 North refused to stop. After pursuing the trailer for several miles with their emergency lights on, deputies and the constable were able to reprehend the driver of the trailer came to a halt. Fifty four year-old Oscar Herrejon from Laredo, Texas was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
