Maverick County Daily Reports-July 17, 2015

Wanted Person-Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a tan Ford Sedan on North Veteran's Blvd. this morning, shortly before 1 AM. A preliminary license check on all occupants of the vehicle revealed that the passenger, identified as Michelle Rodriguez, had an outstanding warrant out of Tarrant County for criminal mischief. The warrant was confirmed and Ms. Rodriguez was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Public Intoxication-Deputies were dispatched to Wild Turkey in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, a deputy noticed two male subjects on the street displaying slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and unstable movements. Both male subjects were arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Evading Arrest/Possession of a Controlled Substance-Responding to the same disturbance on Wild Turkey, a deputy attempted to make contact with two male subjects. Both male subjects ran from the scene, but the deputy managed to detain one subject at the scene. The subject, identified as 18 year-old Christian Flores, was arrested. It was later revealed that Mr. Flores was in possession of .2 grams of cocaine.

Burglary of Habitation-A unit was dispatched to US Highway 277 North in reference to a male subject inside of a vacant apartment. Upon arrival, the deputy was able to make contact with Mr. David Morales, who was found intoxicated and had gained unlawful entry into the apartment. Mr. Morales was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Vehicle-Deputies responded to the 200 block of Coahuila where a male complainant reported unknown subject(s) went into his vehicle and took items without his consent.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Units were dispatched to FM 1021 in reference to a motor vehicle rollover accident. Contact was made with the driver of a vehicle who was traveling southbound on FM 1021 when he lost control and went into oncoming traffic, ultimately striking a commercial vehicle. One of the occupants of the vehicle that lost control was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center Emergency Room after complaining of neck pains.
