Maverick County Daily Reports-July 19, 2015

Reckless Driving, Wanted Person, DWLI- A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2013 Ford Mustang traveling at a high rate of speed this morning.  At approximately 12:39 AM, the Mustang was clocked at driving over 100 miles per hour on North Veteran's Blvd. The driver, identified as Alfredo Fuentes, Jr., was arrested on charges of reckless driving, driving without a valid license, and also had an open warrant out of Midland, Texas.

Burglary of Vehicle-County units responded to Clavel Street, where multiple complainants advised that their vehicles had been broken into. Arrested at the scene was eighteen year-old Lonnie Dean Campos.

Sexual Assault-A deputy responded to a sexual assault report on Commissary Road when a female complainant stated she had been sexually assaulted by a known male subject.

Located Runaway-A juvenile reported as having runaway hours earlier had returned home.

Theft-Units responded to an alley way on Siesta Drive when a male complainant advised that unknown subject(s) had taken some scrap metal by the property.

Burglary of Habitationb-A female complainant on the 1700 block of Calle Jalisco advised deputies she was out of town for the weekend and returned to find unknown actor(s) had gained entry into her residence and had taken several items without her consent.

Civil Matter-A male individual told deputies he had lost his horse earlier and had seen it on a social media site as found. He attempted to pick it up at the named location but other people had claimed it as theirs and took it.

Family Assault(simple)-Units were dispatched to Vanessa Drive in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a female complainant, who stated her husband was inside the residence and had been arguing with her and striking the walls. She went on to say she feared for her safety and the safety of her children. The husband, Ricardo Valdez Rodriguez, was placed under arrest on family assault charges. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
