Maverick County Daily Reports-June 19, 2015

Information-At approximately 5:30 AM, a deputy patrolling  FM 2030 in Chula Vista made contact with a male subject, who, after further investigations, was discovered to be an undocumented citizen. United States Border Patrol was summoned to the location where the male was taken into custody.

Information(Injured Person)-A deputy was dispatched to US Highway 57, mile marker 388 after a known male subject exited a moving vehicle near mile marker 388. EMS crews were on scene to transport the subject to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center Emergency Room for further medical treatment.

Possession of Marijuana-Deputies responded to the south Border Patrol Station in reference to reports of a possessions charge. Deputies spoke with Border Patrol agents, who advised a secondary vehicle check yielded 3.3 grams of marijuana found inside the pick up truck. The female subject was arrested on Possession of Marijuana charges and was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for further processing.

Wanted Person-Deputies were contacted by Customs agents after a male attempting to enter the United States via Port of Entry #1 was detained for having an active warrant. Upon arrival and further investigation, Melquiades Alvarado was arrested on an outstanding warrant charge and was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Recovered Narcotics-A deputy responded  to the 1600 block of Las Quintas Blvd after a female complainant stated that while searching a vehicle in her storage lot, she came across a small baggy containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine. The bag was recovered and stored into evidence.

Possession of Marijuana-Border Patrol South Station agents contacted deputies after a secondary check found a male subject in possession of marijuana. Matthew James Montoya was in possession of a clear bag containing a green leafy substance. Mr. Montoya was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
