Sheriff's deputies were called to FM1021(El Indio Highway) off of Rosita Valley Road after two vehicles collided at the intersection Monday afternoon. Officers were in route to the scene at 2:56 PM, where upon arrival noticed a 1998 white Chevy S-10 pickup and a 20014 black Dodge Durango SUV on the roadway. After investigations, deputies determined the Durango failed to yield to the right of way to crossing tracking and collided with the S-1o traveling east on FM1021. Both occupants of the Durango were transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
