County units responded to a single motor vehicle accident involving livestock on the roadway this morning . At approximately 2:26 AM, deputies made their way to the intersection of Loop 480 and US Highway 57 North, where upon arrival noticed a grey 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup truck with damages to its front end after having hit a cow that made its way onto the highway. EMS crews were also at the scene and transported the occupants of the pick up truck to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center Emergency Room for further medical treatment. This case remains under investigation.
