County deputies responded to an apparent single motor vehicle accident on Thompson Road Friday afternoon. At approximately 6:39 PM, units were en route to the scene and found a 1999 Toyota Tacoma flipped over on its side near the brush area adjacent to County Road 305. Contact was made with the driver and passenger of the Tacoma, identified as eighteen year old Hector Arturo Chavez and eighteen year old Monica Ivette Hernandez. EMS crews were at the locale but both occupants refused medical attention. After further investigation, deputies determined that the driver lost control of the vehicle after traveling at an unsafe speed.
