Sheriff's Deputies responded to a possible rollover accident at the intersection of FM 1021(El Indio Highway) and Loop 480 Sunday evening At approximately 11:30 PM, units made their way to the scene, where upon arrival found a green 1996 Dodge Caravan rolled over in the brush area. Contact was made with the occupants of the vehicle and it was later determined that the van was traveling south east on FM 1021 when it was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle, causing it to go off the roadway and rollover. The driver, fifty-eight year old Albino Rios and his occupants, fifty-six year old Sylvia Rios and twenty-five year old Luis Fernando Rios, were all transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center emergency room for further evaluation. The description of the second vehicle involved is still unknown. This case remains under investigation.
