Maverick County Sheriff's Deputies assisted Homeland Security Investigations in a welfare check of an apartment complex on Tesoro Loop Monday evening. At approximately 6:30 PM contact was made at said apartment, where further investigations found seven undocumented citizens by the apartment. Later found at the apartment where clear bags containing a green leafy substance and a bag containing a white powdery substance. US Border Patrol agents were on hand to take custody of the undocumented individuals. This Case is under investigation.
