Deputies responded to calls of an unresponsive individual Monday afternoon, shortly before 3:30 PM. At approximately 3:27 PM, units made their way on Highway 277 North to the scene to find EMS crews performing CPR on the male subject. Attempts to revive the male on the scene were unsuccessful and the individual was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center, where upon after several attempts, still could not be resuscitated. The male subject was later pronounced deceased.
