Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-February 15, 2015
Maverick County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to the FM 1021(EL Indio Highway) near Janie Street, Sunday morning, in reference to a possible single motor vehicle accident. At approximately 7:01 AM, units made their way to the location to find a 2005 silver Nissan Titan, which appeared to have been involved in a rollover, on the side of the roadway. No occupants were in the vehicle at the time and further investigations found the vehicle to have been reported stolen several hours earlier. Wrecker services were summoned and the truck was transported to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office for impoundment. This case remains under investigation.
