Texas Border Sheriff's Coalition Annual Winter Meeting Held In Maverick County
Maverick County played host to the 2015 Texas Border Sheriff's Coalition annual winter meeting this past week, where over fifty dignitaries and public officials from around the Texas/Mexico border region gathered for a two day conference at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Hotel. Invited guests and representatives from the various law enforcement agencies in the area were also on hand to partake and give their input on the pertinent information and goings on in the area. Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber and his staff take this opportunity to thank the conference participants for attending and welcomes them back to Eagle Pass and Maverick County for the following conference with open arms.
