County units were at the scene of a single motor vehicle rollover accident in Maverick County late Wednesday evening. At approximately 11:19 PM, deputies made their way to mile marker 382 on US Highway 57 and observed a 2014 silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup laying on its right side. Upon closer observation, officers noticed a male trapped inside the vehicle. EMS and Fire Department rescue units arrived and were on hand to remove the male driver from the vehicle. A female passenger was able to get out of the vehicle on her own. Both occupants were then transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment and the Texas Department of Public Safety has taken over the investigation.
