Deputies responded to calls of a motor vehicle accident On Saturday, October 18th, shortly after 1:00 PM. Units arrived to the intersection of La Herradura Street and Eidson Road and made contact with Jose Franco, the driver of a 1993 blue Chevrolet Pick-up. Mr. Franco stated he was turning onto La Herradura Street off of Eidson Road and made a wide left turn, causing him to collide with a guard rail. While the rail and the vehicle both had visible damages, Mr. Franco refused medical attention. After preliminary investigation at the scene, it was revealed that alcohol may have contributed to the cause of the accident. This case remains under investigation
