The Maverick County Sheriff's Office responded to calls of an unresponsive subject found inside a residence on Saturday, October 25th. At approximately 10:47 AM, units were dispatched to County road 606, w2here family members stated that a male, identified as Salvador Garcia, was found laying in his bed and unresponsive. The Eagle Pass Fire Department crew already at the scene transported Mr. Garcia to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center emergency room, where he was later pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Melendrez at 11:04 AM.
