Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-September 2, 2014
The Maverick County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a possible fight in progress in the Loma Bonita sector early Sunday morning. Units arrived to the area near the 3:30 hour to find a male subject in the middle of Coyunda Street, with lacerations to his face and head. Deputies interviewed the subject, who had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his person, and were told that he was at a party nearby and did not know who threw bottles at him. Eagle Pass ambulance crews were summoned to the location, where the male was treated before being taken to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
