The Maverick County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a motor vehicle accident by loop 480 and Highway 277 East Tuesday morning, minutes past the 10:00 AM hour. Units arrived at the location to observe a white Ford Focus, driven by Isai Nieto Arellano, and a brown Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Natalie Soliz, in the middle of the highway. Deputies made contact with Mr. Arellano, who said that the Tahoe had failed to give the right of way entering the highway. Mr. Arellano was treated at the scene and was later transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
