Sheriff's deputies were called out to the Glass Ranch on FM 2644 Friday afternoon in reference to human remains found on the property. At approximately 3:28 PM, units were dispatched to the locale, where officers met with United States Border Patrol agents , who stated ranch personnel were taking photos of the rural areas when they discovered what appeared to be human remains. A skull and three pieces of bone were recovered in the area, alongside a pair of shoes. Justice of the Peace Madera was called to the scene where she pronounced the remains deceased at 5:32 PM. This case has been transferred to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Unit for further investigation.
