Deputies were dispatched to Loop 480 in reference to a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, August 10th. Deputies arrived at the scene to find a 2001 tan Jeep Cherokee rolled over and made contact with the driver, eighteen year old Hector Reymundo Bermea. Both Bermea and a female passanger suffered minor injuries, and stated that the accident was caused when Mr. Bermea swerved to avoid striking a coyote. EMS crews were called to the location but Mr. Bermea and the female passenger refused medical attention. This case is under investigation.
