Sheriff's deputies received a call regarding a structural fire in the Tierra Del Sol Subdivison on Monday, August 8th, at 5:20 PM. Upon arrival, deputies and Eagle Pass Fire Department observed black smoke emitting from one of the mobile home windows and the occupants outside of the property. Fire crews entered the residence and were able to control the fire, which appeared to have started by a window unit in one of the bedrooms. EMS was on scene to treat one family member that sustained minor burn injuries attempting to extinguish the fire. The amount of damages caused by the fire is currently unknown. This case is under investigation by the Eagle Pass Fire Department.
