Moter Vehicle Accident at intersection of US Highway 277 North and North Street

Maverick County Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident call Friday August 1st, near the intersection of US Highway 277 and North Street, at approximately 2:54 PM.Upon arrival, deputies observed a white Dodge 3500 pick up and black Ford F-150 pick up in the middle of the road. Gumercindo Guevara, the driver of a the 2002 Ford, stated he was traveling westbound on North Street, given the right of way by the traffic light. John Wall IV, the driver of the Dodge pickup, was traveling southbound on Highway 277, when he struck the Ford. Both drivers refused medical attention at the time of the accident.
