County deputies responded to Ranchitos Road Friday, August 1st, shortly before 2 PM, in reference to a possible attempted suicide. Contact was made with fifty-one year old Sonia Jimenez, who stated that her husband, sixty-five year old Guillermo Gaytan, had taken several prescribed medication at one time. Eagle Pass Fire Department emergency personnel arrived to assess Mr. Gaytan before he was transferred to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further assessment.
