Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Deputies arrived at the scene of an accident on Highway 277 North, near the Hopedale Road intersection Tuesday evening, at approximately 9 PM. Deputies made contact with both parties involved. Seventeen year old Alexis Flores, the driver of a 2006 Grey Ford F-150, stated she was traveling north on highway 277 and was turning into the Hopedale area when she was struck from behind by a 1998 Brown Chevy Silverado. The driver of the Silverado was identified as twenty-one year old Albert Morales. Ms. Flores was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further medical treatment.
