Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Deputies responded to Eagle Point Road Tuesday afternoon, at approximately 5:33 PM in regards to a single motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, deputies observed a 2011 black Dodge Ram Pickup on its left side. The driver of the pickup, Sergio Moreno-Bravo, a resident of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, stated he was heading towards Eagle Point Ranch when he was distracted by a phone call on his mobile phone. Mr. Moreno further stated that he struck the median where the gate panel is located and the impact caused the Ram to flip on its side. Eagle Pass EMS and Rescue arrived at the scene but Mr. Moreno refused further medical treatment.
