Robbery in Chula Vista Sector of Maverick Countny

Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Deputies responded to a robbery in progress at the County Corner and Snack Store on FM 2030 in Chula Vista Sunday, July 6th.Upon arrival, deputies made contact with two employees and and eyewitness at the location. One female employee stated that two male subjects entered the store wearing ski masks and were armed with knives, demanding cooperation. Both subjects left the store through the rear of the building, heading to Pueblo Nuevo Drive on foot. A search of the immediate area was then conducted, but deputies were unable to locate the subjects. This case is under investigation.
