Deputies Assist Custom and Border Protection in Apprehension

Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-On Monday July 1, 2014, at approximately 3:57 AM, deputies assisted Customs and Border Protection agents in the apprehension of sixty-four undocumented immigrants. Amongst the sixty-four apprehended,  sixty-three where from Honduras, including several females, children, an eight-month pregnant female, and four-day old infant. The other undocumented immigrant hailed from El Salvador. 

Several Border Patrol Agents then arrived at the scene, where the immigrants were detained and transported to the United States Border Patrol Eagle Pass North Station.
