Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Deputies responded to a call by Industrial Parkway in reference to a rollover accident on Friday, June 13th, at 7:18 AM. Units arrived to the locale and observed a male subject walking by the intersection og US Highway 277 North and Industrial Parkway. Deputies made contact with the male, identified as Michael Rivera, who stated that he failed to control the speed of his 2004 silver Nissan 350Z and lost control of the vehicle. Deputes later confirmed that it was a single motor vehicle accident and not a rollover as previously reported. EMS was summoned to the location and Mr. Rivera refused medical transportation or attention due to no visible injuries.
