Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Sheriff's deputies provided a medical escort assistance on May 8th at the intersection of loop 480 and FM 1021. At approximately 6:40 PM, deputies arrived at the scene and observed Eagle Pass Ambulance personnel administering first aid to a male individual. The male required further medical attention and was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical center where he would not be able to recover from a cardiac arrest. Justice of the Peace Madera arrived and pronounced the male individual deceased. This case remains under investigation.
