Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Sheriff's deputies responded to U.S. Highway 277 East by mile marker 628 in reference to a single motor vehicle accident Thursday afternoon, just passed the 4:30 PM hour. Deputies arrived to find a 2003 green Chevy Trailblazer off the side of the highway and were able to make contact with the driver, Oscar Ariel Moreno, who stated he was traveling westbound towards Eagle Pass, Texas when the left frontside tire blew, causing Moreno to lose control of the vehicle and rollover approximately four to five times. Eagle Pass EMS was summoned to the scene of the accident and transported Mr. Moreno to Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
