Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Sheriff's deputies responded to Thompson Road just past the noon hour Saturday, March 29, after receiving calls of an accident involving a tractor trailer and a vehicle. Deputies arrived and promptly made contact with the occupants of both vehicles. The driver of a white 2004 Freightliner semi-tractor stated that he was turning into a property when he was struck from behind by a 2003 Chevy Silverado, which suffered extensive damages. Eagle Pass abulance services rendered treatment on site and then transported the driver and occupant of the Silverado to Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further medical attention.
