Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Sheriff's deputies responded to a motorcycle accident on FM 1908 by Quemado, Texas on April 2, 2014 at approximately 5:12 PM. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the driver of the vehicle, who was stuck inside of a canal. The male subject stated that he lost control on the curve while traveling north on FM 1908 and struck the guardrail. Deputies noted several road rash lacerations on both arms and a broken left leg. The subject was then transported to a San Antonio hospital via AirEvac.
