Maverick County Sheriff's Office(PRESS RELEASE)-Maverick County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a domestic violence in progress on the 2500 block of Eidson Road Wednesday March 12, 2014 near the 2 P.M. hour. Deputies were able to make contact with an elderly female who stated she had been assaulted by her granddaughter, identified as Victoria Lynette Oca. Upon further investigation and noticable injuries to the elderly female, deputies arrested Ms. Oca for assault-family violence and transported her to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. The elderly female was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for medical treatment. This case is under investigation.
