Evading Arrest-Deputies performing Operation Stonegarden patrol this morning attempted to conduct a traffic stoop on a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta for a minor infraction. Upon attempting to pull over the vehicle, the driver proceeded to speed up and evade patrol units and a pursuit ensued. Units followed the vehicle onto Main Street, where a single motor vehicle accident prevented the vehicle from fleeing. Several subjects attempted to evade, however, the passenger identified as twenty-three year old Donovan Moore was apprehended at the scene. Upon further inspection, it was revealed the Jetta was acting as a load vehicle and was transporting undocumented subjects. All 10 subjects were turned over to US Border Patrol custody. No injuries were reported at the time of this report.
