Assault/Family Violence-A unit responded to the 1300 block of El Venado at approximately 4:00 AM this morning in response to a disturbance in progress. Contact was made with a female subject who stated she was involved in physical altercation with her common law husband. Medical attention was refused at the time of the report and further investigations led to the arrest of the subject in question, identified as Brandon Banuelos. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-A deputy was dispatched to the international port of entry 2 early this morning after agents at the port detained a male subject when a check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant out of the State of Arkansas-Rogers PD on rape charges was confirmed and the subject, identified as Rolando Cuevas, was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Possession of a Controlled Substance/Possession of a Dangerous Drug-Contact was made with a twenty-five year old female subject found asleep behind the wheel at a gas station parking lot off of US Highway 277 North shortly after 8 AM this morning. Further investigation of the vehicle revealed the subject, Erika Barrientos, was in possession of a usable amount of methamphetamine and several Xanax pills. She was then placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
