Maverick County Daily Reports-October 03, 2020

Disorderly Conduct/Possession of a Controlled Substance-Units were dispatched to Los Sauces Street this evening in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival at the scene, contact was made with Josue Torres and Ignacio Torres, Jr  two brothers who had been involved in a physical altercation. A safety pat-down on Jouse Torres led to the discovery of a black pouch containing several baggies containing a crystal-like substance on his person. The substance would test positive for approximately 9.66 grams of methamphetamine.  The two subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center. The methamphetamine was tagged and placed in an evidence locker.
