Maverick County Daily Reports-October 04, 2020

 Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on the 1700 block of Calle Jalisco reported unknown subject(s) had gained entry to her Nissan Murano and took a black purse containing credit cards, documents, and approximately $700.00 in cash. A formal report was filed. 

Criminal Trespass-A resident on Zaragoza Street reported unknown subject(s) had changed out the deadbolt to the rear entry of her home currently under remodeling. Deputies then conducted a safety check at the residence, where three undocumented subjects were found inside the dwelling. US Border Patrol was summoned to the scene and took custody of the subjects. The homeowner did not wish to file charges at the time of this report. 

Burglary of Habitation-A complainant on the 1400 block of Agarita reported unknown subject(s) entered her residence without consent and took several items, including a 55 inch television set and two Chrome notebooks. A formal report was filed. 

Wanted Person-Twenty-six year old John Anthony Guerra was taken into custody at the international port of entry 2 this afternoon after a check revealed an active warrant out of the US Marshals Service. The warrant on a probation violation was confirmed as active and Guerra was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.
