Public Intoxication/Criminal Trespass-Deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of Frente Sreet shortly after 11 PM this evening where a complainant reported a known male subject had entered his property without his consent and began knocking on his windows. The subject, identified as Edgar Martinez, would leave the scene prior to a deputies arrival, however, was apprehended a short time later after he was found in an intoxicated state. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Burglary of Habitation/Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon-Deputies responded to the 3100 block of Tita this evening, where a victim reported he had been asleep when he heard a knock at the front door. The victim further stated he woke up to find the door forced open and two known male subjects yielding weapons in his home without consent. The victim then advised he had been struck in the head with a baseball bat by one of the subjects prior to their fleeing the scene in a red four door vehicle. Deputies would later conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the description After further investigation, one subject was placed under arrest and a second was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER for further treatment. This case has been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.
