Possession of a Controlled Substance/Public Intoxication-Units responded to the intersection of Karen Drive and Pueblo Nuevo Drive this afternoon in regards to an unwanted subject in the area. A stationary Toyota Corolla was observed at the location and contact was made with the driver identified as Selena Jimenez, who displayed signs of intoxication. A second subject, identified as Jeorgina Jimenez, arrived at the location to claim ownership of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a baggie d containing a residue containing crystal-like substance and two THC cartridges. The owner of the vehicle advised the cartridges were hers and she was placed under arrest. Selina Jimenez was also taken into custody on public intoxication charges. The pair were then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Reckless Driving/Possession of Marijuana/Driving with Invalid License-A deputy patrolling FM1021 this evening conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 GMC Sierra after it was observed driving recklessly. Contact was with twenty-five year old Sergio Cervantes, the driver of the vehicle, who was taken into custody after a check revealed a mandatory suspension of his driver's license. While conducted an inventory for impoundment purposes, a clear plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance was found inside the vehicle. Mr. Cervantes was also charged with possession of marijuana and was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-Hilario Barrientos was taken into custody after his common law wife reported they had been involved in a physical altercation earlier this evening. Upon arrival at the location, Mr. Barrientos was found outside of the residence and displayed signs of intoxication. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
